Need a spare tire solution for your Tesla? We’ve answered the most common questions about fitment, storage, safety, and compatibility to help you choose the right emergency kit with confidence.

❌ Due to limited cargo space—especially in the frunk—most Tesla models won’t fit the EZ Spare Kit inside. We recommend checking the tire dimensions before purchase. We also offer a spare tire carrying bag for safe storage in the cabin or rear area.

Yes! Our 20-inch EZ Spare Tire Kits are specially engineered to fit Tesla Plaid and Performance models. No spacers are required, and they clear the larger brake calipers on:

  • Tesla Model S Plaid – 195/55R20 spare
  • Tesla Model 3 Performance – 145/60R20 spare
  • Tesla Model Y Performance – 195/55R20 spare

🚫 The EZ Spare Kit does not include a jack or wrench. Tesla models need a special jack pad (lifting puck) to safely raise the car without damaging the battery. Standard tire kits are not recommended.

⚠️ No. These spares are made for short-term emergency use only. We recommend a max speed of 55 mph and distance under 50 miles until a full tire replacement.

✅ Yes! Our spares are based on rolling diameter, not rim size. They work even with staggered setups or 19″–21″ wheels. The key is matching tire height, not wheel diameter.
